Why Prometheus?
We chose the name Prometheus after the Titan, who created man and brought fire to them, allowing new innovations to be made that are passed through generations and generations. With our company, we hope to bring enlightenment to people like the titan Prometheus once did!
As students finish getting their high school diploma and start heading into the real world, they have no idea how to start things off with their finances. Only 17 out of the 50 states in the U.S. guarantee a semester-long personal finance course for high schoolers, which leaves a large chunk of students not having the advantage they do. We want to help those who are unable to have access to learn about financial literacy and to do this, we decided to create something most students are already comfortable with, which are video games.
